Shed openings 2012

The Trading Shed on Oakley Road has reopened and is fully stocked with seed and potting compost, horse manure and of course seed potatoes.

Come along to get the first choice of all the new seed potatoes, this year we will have lots of salad varieties and more First Earlies.  Also a great range of top quality composts and manures at brilliant prices.  Don't buy cheap compost from DIY stores, buy our top quality makes - your plants will thank you for this by producing better growth, flowers and crops!

AGM 2012

The Annual General Meeting will be on Wednesday 14th March at 7:45pm at Caversham Primary School (Hemdean Road).  Come along and find out what your committee has been doing, how the society has faired last year and partake of some light refreshments at the same time.  A great chance to meet your fellow members.

Autumn Show Saturday 10th September 2011

We held our Autumn Show at Caversham Court this year as part of the Caversham centenary celebrations.  Take a look at the prize winners and the photos.

Next Plant Sale : our next sale will be Saturday 5th May  at the Oakley Road site, starts 10am.  Donate your spare plants and seeds then buy something new! 

Who we are

We are a gardening club of around 600 members in Caversham, Reading, Berkshire.  Our aims are to enjoy gardening and to help and encourage others to do so too.  We are affiliated to the Royal Horticultural Society.
