Heather Skinner - Beyond the Garden Gate - the NGS past and present

Wednesday 16th October at Caversham Baptist Church Doors open at 7:30pm, talk starts shortly afterwards..

'Beyond the garden gate - the National Garden Scheme, past and present' by Heather Skinner.  Heather has been the volunteer NGS County Organiser for Berkshire since 2007, Trustee on the Board of the National Garden Scheme for 9 years, including 6 years as Vice Chairman, and is now a Vice President. So it's safe to say that she will know what she is talking about!

Claire Mitchell - A Plant a Month

Wednesday 13th November online via Zoom 7:15pm for 7:30pm start.

Tired of buying plants only to find that there are gaps and it looks drab and boring? As a trained horticulturist specialising in herbaceous perennials, Claire will introduce you to plants to ensure there is always something in flower or of interest year round. Packed with designer tips on how to get that "full garden" look, the talk will cover plants for sun, shade, clay, sand and everything in between!

Linda Humpries-Evans - Caversham Court Gardens

Wednesday 11th December at Caversham Baptist Church from 7:30pm.  This is also our Christmas social event.



In person talks

Everyone is welcome at our talks, members are free and non-members are welcome to attend for £3 per person.  Refreshments will be served at the end of the talk.  There is some limited disabled parking (in the church car park) otherwise free parking is available over the road behind Waitrose.
